It's a......

Well, John and I went to the Dr. on Monday to have our level 2 ultrasound to make sure that every thing was going well and we also found out that it is a BOY!!!! And a stubborn boy at that. During the ultrasound the technician was trying to take pictures of all his little organs and spine to make sure they were developing well. When it came to taking pictures of his heart, he decided it was time to play a little game. He decided that he wanted to roll over on his belly and hide from the "camera". They had me turning from side to side, laying my head down lower and he still wouldn't flip over. So then the fun part, one of the techs started poking me in the belly and shaking him around. I was laughing so hard and he finally rolled over and they were able to get the pictures they wanted. I'm not sure were he gets his stubbornness from but boy is he going to be a a hand full! We cant wait for him to get here and as soon as I can get the picture scanned I will post it, I promise! Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Where to Start...

As most of you know, John and I got married this past April. We had the most wonderful wedding and could not have asked for a better day. We then journeyed off to Costa Rica for a week of relaxation and adventure. It was a vacation of a life time and the perfect honeymoon! John and I white water rafted (where I almost became a widow when John fell out of the raft), hiked through the rain forest, saw beautiful waterfalls and even got to see lava coming out of an active volcano. I would go back there in a heartbeat! The food and the people were just wonderful! Not to mention the scenery was amazing. The only complaint that we had, is that they aren't very good drivers.

So, we have now been married for almost 5 months and are expecting are first bundle of joy! We are so excited to be expanding our family. I am 19 weeks along (almost half way there) and starting to enjoy being pregnant. I had a rough start with morning sickness, which was really all day sickness but I am now feeling much better. We ordered our crib this past weekend and have started to put the nursery together. John and James painted the room, hung chair rail and even added shelving to the closet.

We will keep everyone posted on our new journey and I will try to post pictures as soon as I can. I know some of you (Ris) are dying to see my bump, LOL.
